A pretty little lady
This is the hand sewn item which I said I was inspired by when making the little acorn purse. My friend Karen made it and I think it's so pretty. She's really very skilled with her neat little stitches. She's going to be starting her own shop soon aptly called My Mum Taught Me To Sew and I can't wait to see what she comes up with. The little lady is now placed on my bedroom door, doesn't she look welcoming?

party time
Daniel and I are having a little party this weekend so we spent last weekend putting up paper garlands. This is a picture of my friend Joseph and I. I made him make minature decorations for our tree. I plan to post about all my green decorations, I'm very pleased with them. Have a happy weekend all.In the park
One thing I do as part of my job is the annual Tree Dressing. Nine primary school classes took part this year and I spent all of yesterday, in the rain, putting their artwork in the trees. Today the rain had cleared and all the school children came to see their work. I've been so busy with the project but I was so pleased with how today went.
