I just found out recently that the thraditional children's nursery rhyme is about churches surrounding the city of London. I never knew. Here is a little history about it and the original lyrics. This picture is from the Museum of Childhood's website which also explains the party game. I forgot all about this game. We used to play it at my birthday parties so maybe we will play it at The Winter Entertainments Club!
