We went to Lewes on Bonfire night. It was all that I had hoped for and more. So many different costume. So much fire and so very noisy. Bangers were constantly being dropped by people in the parade. All the different societies wore stipey knitted jumpers in their colours. I loved the kids being pushed in prams decorated like kiyaks, the hand painted banners and the giant Guy Fawkes to burn on the bonfire.
