Today I'll be going to Lewes to see their annual celebrations of 5th November. I've heard a lot about it and I've been wanting to go for a long time. I've had a look on the council website and they try to deter 'outsiders' from visiting. Apparently because it gets so busy and there is so much fire about. There are seven bonfire societies in Lewes, each representing an area of Lewes. Each society wears their own colours and puts on a procession at different times throughout the night. I can't wait.
